What is EFT?

What is EFT?
EFT is Emotional Freedom Techniques. It is also referred to as Tapping because you are literally tapping on acupressure points on your own face and top half of the body. Using clinical evidence-based EFT, we send calming signals to the stress centre of the brain while you are exposing the issue with words. This neutralises the underlying emotion, impacting on your beliefs and the negative memories. Therefore tapping has the power to change your burnout, anxiety, trauma, depression and PTSD symptoms. Tapping is equally effective via Zoom or face to face.

Anxiety,
Trauma & PTSD
2019 research demonstrates that 12 hours of EFT:
-
reduces anxiety by 40%
-
PTSD is down 32%
-
reduces pain by 57%
With trauma, it's important to go gently, so your brain can adjust to the new changes.
EFT can improve your feelings about past traumas & beliefs about yourself. This leaves you feeling calm, with less fear, resentment and overwhelm.
Healing from Within: How EFT Tapping Eases Trauma, Anxiety, and PTSD
Trauma, anxiety, and PTSD are held in both the body and the mind. The body keeps score.
EFT Tapping is a powerful mind-body technique that helps relieve symptoms in both. It calms the nervous system, disrupts the stress response, and reprocesses emotional memories. Research shows EFT can significantly lower cortisol (the stress hormone) and improve emotional regulation.
Unlike talk therapy alone, EFT addresses the physical sensations and subconscious patterns that keep people stuck. It helps individuals feel safe in their bodies again and release the emotional charge of past events—restoring a sense of peace, clarity, and control.
